  • 200 g flour

Cinnamon apple fritters: In a bowl, add the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, salt and Cannamela ground cinnamon , then mix with a whisk. Let the batter rest for 30 mins.

Peel and core the apples, then cut into ½ cm slices. Dip the apple slices in the batter then fry a few at a time in hot oil. Drain when golden brown. Sprinkle the apple fritters with Cannamela ground cinnamon.

Castagnole with 5-spice powder: Combine the flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter and eggs in a bowl. Flavour with the Cannamela 5-spice powder, mix with the white wine until the dough is not too soft. Knead the dough very well, form into sausage shaped pieces and then cut these into chunks. Round the chunks in your hands and fry in oil that is not too hot, turning them. Drain the castagnole and dip them immediately in caster sugar.
